Senior Hedge Fund Accountant

Job Description:  

·        Coordinate annual audits with outside auditors

·        Reconciling cash and holdings, and pricing of securities

·        Prepare quarterly IRS/SEC diversification tests

·        Produce and review daily, weekly, and monthly shareholder reports

·        Calculate daily NAV

·        Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly internal reporting and trades processing

·        Coordinate monthly, quarterly and yearly distributions

·        Responsible for the accrual and payment of all fund expenses

Qualifications:  

·        4 years accounting/finance degree. CPA/MBA a plus

·       3-6 years of direct hedge fund accounting or auditing experience

·        Strong problem resolution and analytical skills with attention to detail

·        Prior experience preparing  financial statements

·        Knowledge of GAAP, ?40 Act requirements and IRC

·        Mutual fund and hedge funds tax experience

·        AXYS and Advent Partner experience a plus.
