Parker + Lynch has partnered with a market-leading manufacturing company in the Philadelphia region that is looking to hire an Accounting Manager. This individual will own the entire accounting cycle from transactions to month end close. If you are a hands-on self-starter and enthusiastic about new challenges, this is the position for you!
Responsibilities
Manage the daily accounting functions, including but not limited to sales transaction processing, cash management, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory, payroll processing, and sales tax compliance
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with month end close and statutory reporting
Identify, document, and enhance internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
Assist the Controller with other projects and reporting functions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing industry and previous supervisory experience
Experience with implementing new ERP systems to improve transaction processing
Experience with managing projects and handling multiple simultaneous tasks including prioritization of tasks and planning of the team members responsibilities
