Parker + Lynch is exclusively recruiting for an Accounting Manager for a family office client based in Santa Fe New Mexico.  An ideal candidate will be an organized, pro-active accounting/finance professional with strong leadership skills.  Our client has business interest in global investments and real estate.  You will be part of a team of 3 handling all aspects of the accounting and finance for this prestigious entity.  Ability to provide strategic input to support the growth and expansion of this organization is key. 

This role is hybrid remote, requiring 2 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounting activities covering the areas of G/L, A/P, A/R and small payroll
  • Perform account reconciliation for various accounts and processes
  • Assist with financial statements, management reports, and other required periodic filings
  • Assist with monthly accounting functions
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts
  • Maintains and updates internal control throughout the accounting and financial processes of the entity
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA or CPA a nice plus
  • Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working in an accounting
  • 4+ years of experience in a family office, investment management or real estate

  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Pay Rate: $75k to 100k/year

    Work Hours: 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week
