Parker + Lynch is seeking an Interim  Accounting Manager with experience in small-mid size companies needed for temporary need. Must have strong accounting and month-end close experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely quarterly and yearly financial statements
  • Support month-end and year-end reconciliation of all financial activity
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting for tax documents, bank reconciliation, and journal entries
  • Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Oversee the weekly payroll and payroll reporting
  • Ensure prompt payment to vendors

Requirements

  • Proven working experience an Accounting Manager, preferably in healthcare or non-profit environments
  • 7-9 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Excellent accounting software user including Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Oracle R12 a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn are essential
