Are you an experienced Accounting Manager in Rock Hill, SC looking for a new opportunity? Parker and Lynch is seeking a skilled candidate for a permanent position with an established client. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing team and support multiple teams across the organization.


  • Manage the general ledger team in its day-to-day accounting and monthly close processes, to ensure the Company’s financial statements and resulting supporting schedules are captured timely, completely, and accurately in accordance with GAAP. This may include the review and/or preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounting schedules such as rollforwards, fluctuations and other similar analyses.
  • Maintaining a complete and effective internal control environment, helping to establish new or modify existing controls as necessary.
  • Maintaining a change mindsight, leading process improvements to attain further effectiveness and efficiency. This includes developing and applying tools to support the general ledger team and/or business partners in improved performance of their roles or functions.
  • Identifying and investigating accounting issues and assessing their corresponding accounting and/or business implications, communicating said findings and implementing an appropriate process, as applicable.
  • Assigning tasks, training, coaching, and mentoring staff.
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial results to management and business partners across the organization.
  • Support departmental software implementation initiatives (e.g., Blackline, Visual Lease, etc).
  • Support various ad hoc accounting needs, such as activities pertaining to mergers, acquisitions and/or divestures.
  • Support consolidation processes on an as-needed basis.
  • Aid business partners through ad hoc information requests and knowledge sharing.
  • Aid SEC reporting on an as-needed basis.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience using Oracle Financial Systems preferred
  • Experience using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred
  • Prior experience in a global or public company preferred
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to anticipate and embrace change in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to exhibit integrity and honesty
