Parker & Lynch is currently seeking an Accounting Manager with 8 or more years of experience for a full-time job at a highly reputable tax and advisory firm in Tri-Valley, CA.   • Compile and analyze financial data and prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheet, P&L statements, and related reports to summarize current and project company financial position.
  • Assist in managing and improving existing accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
  • Compile appropriate data and documents to prepare and review federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
  • Maintain and develop relationship with clients, including providing recommendations regarding complex client issues.
  • Perform other tasks and functions as assigned.


  • CPA and strong GAAP knowledge
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university
  • Have experience in at least one area: multi-state returns, planning, estate, gift, valuations, foreign information reporting, R&D.


  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications
  • Tax and accounting software, preferably Lacerte


  • Minimum 8 years of related experience

    Employment Type: Full-time



  • $120,000 – $140,000 (DOE) plus bonus
