Parker+Lynch is searching for an Accounting & Finance Manager to join our client's team located in Everett, WA. This company is in the hospitality and manufacturing space and is currently working on an additional project to help stop and kill viruses to create a cleaner and safer place! This is a great opportunity to join a tenured team of people who are excited to work alongside you. There is room for advancement in the future into Controller as this client continues to grow but this role is for a seasoned and experienced Manager!

 

This is a full time/direct hire position.

 

Target Profile

  • 6+ years of professional Accounting Experience
  • Exceptional accounting skills
  • Well-rounded in experience - manufacturing and a variety of different roles prior
  • Very strong IT and computer skills
  • Management experience - 4-5 reports (senior accountant, AP, AR, Payroll, GL)
  • Experienced and high level individual who has a hands on approach and can hit the ground running
  • Experience in a small to medium sized company to understand the structure
  • Proactive and sharp
  • Epicor ERP huge plus!
  • Sales tax experience - file in 35 states
  • CPA preferred

    Summary of Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Accounting Department's activities of the financial management reports
  • Supervise month end closing and general ledger activity
  • Ensure accurate monthly account reconciliations are completed accurately and timely
  • Assist the CFO with annual review/audit of financials
  • Assist CFO with preparing annual Financial Plan
  • Report and ensure compliance with company financial goals and variances
  • Oversee AP and AR/Credit Functions
  • Manage/process credit hold and credit hold releases in coordination with Sales, Production and Logistics
  • Manage treasury operations
  • Manage collection and filing/payment of sales and use tax
  • Manage freight accounting
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls
  • Manage a team of 4-5 (senior accountant, AP, AR, Payroll, GL) and being hands on ensuring that transactions are processed and executed
  • Evaluate individuals strengths and opportunities for improvement
  • Create an environment that allows all employees to have increased opportunities to contribute to the success of the company
