Accounts Payable Manager Job - Bellevue, WA

Due to its rapid growth, a Paker+Lynch client is seeking to add an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to the team. You will oversee the AP and Procure-to-Pay Processes, provide reporting to the leadership team for decision making purposes and utilize your relationship building skills to develop strong teams and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to participate in the structure of the shared service department and offer ideas for improvement and efficiency. ·         Ensuring all invoices are paid as necessary and timely

·         Provide supporting documentation for Monthly/Quarterly close

·         Monitor Accounting Processes to ensure proper controls and sufficient documentation as required for compliance purposes

·         Track Key Metrics to stay on target for goals and provide corrective action as needed

·         Responsible for creating and documenting policies and procedures for the AP department

·         Support Internal and External audits and compliance as per GAAP and SOX

·         Identify areas of growth and provide strategies to maximize its potential

·         Mentor and coach junior AP personnel on an ongoing basis


·         5+ years experience in Accounts Payable

·         Proven record of leading a successful team

·         Ability to be detail oriented, meet tight deadlines, and handle sensitive situations with tact and confidence

·         Minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting or related field

·         Experience working in a large ERP system

·         Natural propensity to find and implement process improvement initiatives

·         Strong project management skills. Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills, Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
