Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations, the Analyst, Investor Relations will be a key contributor to the investor relations function. We are searching for a driven finance professional with strong attention to detail 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and updating investor relations materials including corporate presentations, press releases and other materials distributed to investment community
  • Manage preparations around investor conferences, road shows, marketing, earnings calls, and other IR events including scheduling investor meetings, printing presentations and other related logistics
  • Perform research and analytics around industry trends and peer performance metrics as well as other ad hoc analytics for senior management
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the financial models and assumptions used by research analysts to value the Company and its peers; use this knowledge to improve the efficacy of the Company's communications to the investment community
  • Develop and perform regular analysis of shareholder base and shareholder targeting strategies
  • Assist in responding to ad hoc investor and analyst inquiries
  • Prepare internal reports and updates on stock price performance of the Company and its peers, investor dialogue, equity research reports, upcoming investor relations events, etc.
  • Monitor ongoing operational performance through internal contacts and assist in developing investor relations messages based on this performance
  • Manage the investor relations portion of the company website along with maintaining the corporate information section of the corporate website including posting news releases and ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Record meetings and investor dialogue in IR database

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent
  • Approximately 1-3 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, finance, public accounting
  • Understanding of corporate finance and accounting
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of financial modeling must be extremely organized and able to multi-task
  • Personable demeanor with ability to quickly build new relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel as well as experience using CapitalIQ and/or FactSet not required but highly preferred
