Are you an Assistant Controller with at least 5 years of experience looking for a new opportunity? Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the general ledger, including fixed assets, intercompany and monthly reconciliations
  • Manage all operational data to guarantee data accuracy and integrity
  • Create and implement business processes and accounting policies to preserve and support internal controls
  • Maintain and improve system controls to guarantee data integrity
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including supporting analytical reports
  • Prepare and publish various daily, weekly, and monthly analyses
  • Oversee the period-end close process
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including supporting analytical reports
  • Prepare and publish various daily, weekly, and monthly analyses
  • Support the preparation of workpapers for annual audit and multi-state income tax returns
  • Responsible for payroll, including calculation of commissions, and remittance of payroll liabilities
  • Aid with special projects as necessary
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least 5 years of related experience, public or private
  • Must have knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial close, reporting, etc.)
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficiency working with ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Experience working with NetSuite, preferred
  • Solid organizational and time management skills are a must
  • Strong attention to detail and able to solve problems
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed with a strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills
  • Must be able to collaborate with various departments across the organization
  • Distribution industry experience preferred
