Assistant Controller

We’re looking to hire an Assistant Controller ASAP for one of clients in Clackamas, OR. In this position you’d be responsible for overseeing general accounting functions & managing a team of direct reports. You’ll work closely with the Controller day-to-day & offered lots of room for growth in this role!

    What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the accounting team who is responsible for fixed assets, accounts payable, loan accounting & general ledger reconciliations
  • Support the Controller with month end closing and review financial statements for accuracy
  • Keep up with changes in accounting principles and industry trends

    Experience you should bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of financial accounting experience & 1+ years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required
  • Prior experience working for a bank, credit union or similar financial institution
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements

    Compensation: $78-97k + excellent benefits!
