Parker + Lynch has partnered with our client in Monmouth County that needs an Assistant Controller. In this role you will work on-site and report to the Controller and manage the day to day accounting of the company. This is a hands-on role that requires job costing accounting and project accounting.
Duties/Responsibilities
Perform month-end close and generate monthly financial statements
Journal entries and management of Sales and Use Tax and payroll taxes
Maintain all ledgers and perform account reconciliations on accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory, liability accounts, intercompany accounts, CAPEX projects
Perform project accounting that includes monthly billings and work in process
Perform all budgeting and forecasting analysis on projects, including cash flow based on upcoming projects, expenditures, and investments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
5+ Years’ Experience in a leadership role
Experience in the construction, engineering, recycling, or manufacturing industries
Ability to work on-site
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
Compensation
$95,000+
