Assistant Manager, Payroll

Parker+Lynch is conducting a search for an Assistant Manager, Payroll with both experience running payroll for over 3,000 employees and maintaining the accounting reconciliations for payroll. This direct hire position is with an international Architectural Design firm with a presence across the US and internationally.

Our ideal candidate has experience processing multi-state payroll as well as international exposure. This is a direct hire position in Cranbury, NJ. This role offers tremendous growth potential as the company continues to expand! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Processes timely and accurate payroll in accordance with all regulatory and reporting requirements for 3,000 employees across 10 states
  • Calculate wage and overtime payments, wage garnishments, and processing of new hires
  • Prepare payroll related journal entries
  • Work closely with HR to ensure accuracy and benefits
  • Review and update payroll procedures and engage employees with any payroll related questions

?Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field is a requirement
  • 5-7+ years of experience processing payroll
  • Experience with ADP payroll is preferable
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal and State payroll laws. 
  • Excellent communications kills

Salary: $75,000-85,000K
