Parker and Lynch is currently searching an Assistant Treasurer/Corp FP&A Senior Manager to join their client in the Miami, FL area. Our client is looking for a someone who has7 to 10 years of combined Corporate FP&A and Treasury experience. Prior experience in utilizing planning/forecasting systems, especially Hyperion Enterprise and Essbase is strongly preferred.

The Assistant Treasurer/Corp FP&A Senior Manager oversees all treasury activities including debt compliance and loan stakeholder communication, cash management and liquidity-related activities and reporting. In this position you will be responsible for all corporate FP&A activities including long range planning, annual corporate budget preparation, forecasting, monthly results reporting and monthly/quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash balance and liquidity analysis and reporting
  • Responsible for field support for smart safe management, cash deposit activities and in-restaurant cash balances
  • Oversee loan compliance, administration, analysis and communication with institutional lenders
  • Compose consolidated long range financial plans for presentation to board and external stakeholders
  • Develop the corporate annual operating Plan, including corporate consolidation and corporate G&A department plans and related analysis
  • Complete weekly updates of projected results for current month (flash report)
  • Produce monthly departmental G&A and headcount reports and analysis comparing actual to budgeted and prior year results
  • Produce and present monthly financial reports and forecasts against Plan and prior forecasts for all components of the consolidated Corporate Income Statement
  • Complete quarterly current year forecast updates at a brand and consolidated level
  • Prepare the monthly, and quarterly board reporting packages that include consolidated Income Statements, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), cash flow and capital expenditures.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance team members to support quarterly external reporting.
  • Complete periodic analysis of investor base with assistance from third party investor relations firm
  • Drive profitable growth by improving visibility, forecasting, consolidation, and analysis of results and key metrics while advising senior management on insights and recommended actions.
  • Leverage financial data and insights to identify key business opportunities and drive efficiency.
  • Join stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational execution.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field
  • 7 to 10 years of combined Corporate FP&A and Treasury experience.
  • Prior corporate planning experience in building annual and long-range plans
  • Prior responsibility for treasury, cash management and loan compliance is strongly desired
  • Prior experience analyzing financial statements, forecasts, month end close, and budgets is required.
  • Multi-unit retail experience, with multi-unit restaurant experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in utilizing planning/forecasting systems, especially Hyperion Enterprise and Essbase is strongly preferred
  • Must have supervisory experience
  • Skills:

  • Must be able to problem-solve and ability to turn analysis into insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of staff up to executive level management.
  • Must have a desire for results and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Needs to have excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects in a fast pace environment.
