One of the larger CPA firms on Long Island is hiring for an Audit Manager.  Qualified candidates will have a degree in Accounting along with at least seven years of public accounting experience.  You will be involved in full cycle audit and accounting engagements with both corporate and non-profit clients.  This is an amazing opportunity to join a stable, reputable CPA firm and gain invaluable experience.  The firm is well-known for taking very good care of their employees, promoting from within, working more reasonable hours and they have a very high retention rate as a result.  This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary in the range of $100,000-120,000 plus bonus and profit-sharing incentives.


Responsibilities of role include:

  • Working closely with firm’s Partner on client engagement planning
  • Taking audits from concept to completion
  • Overseeing staff on audit engagements
  • Collaborating with client CFO’s, Controller’s, etc. to create detailed and accurate audit findings and financial reporting
  • Involved in client tax filings


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification required
  • Seven plus years of prior public accounting experience required
  • Prior Supervisor or Manager level experience required
  • Experience with diverse client industries; real estate, manufacturing, distribution, non-profit
