Senior Auditor

Columbus, OH

 

Searching for a Senior Auditor ready to join a team of accounting professionals committed to developing creative ideas and delivering significant value to existing and new clients. 

Responsibilities

• Understand audit methodology and objectives, and effectively supervise, train and mentor staff and interns.

• Audit financial statements, reviews, and compilations in different industries.

• Build effective working relationships with client personnel to gather information, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements.

• Maintain contact with the client throughout the year developing a thorough understanding of the client's business.

• Proactively demonstrate what it is to be a team player while providing a sense of direction and purpose for staff members.

• Communicate the status of projects regularly to clients and identify areas for audit efficiencies, utilizing available tools and testing methods.

 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Current auditing experience within a public accounting firm

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• CPA license holder or eligible to sit the for the exam and actively pursuing

• SEC experience is preferred

• Proficiency in GAAP reporting standards

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines

• Data analytics, extraction, and visualization presentation is a plus
