Parker + Lynch is working with a successful and well-established New Mexico true company that is looking for an Office Manager/ Bookkeeper. This role will provide accounting support as well as general office administration for a small local company. Responsibilities of the Office Manager/Bookkeeper:

  • Process employee payroll, deductions, garnishments, levies, etc.
  • Performs benefit administration, annual open enrollment, new hire enrollment, change reporting, audits, and communication of benefit information
  • Process payment of vendor invoices in accordance with company policy
  • Create and distribute customer invoices; process incoming payments
  • Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Work with supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Researching and resolving accounting or documentation problems or discrepancies
  • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as necessary
  • Assist with all marketing efforts, print, media, and special events
  • Gather client and marketing data for reports

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • 6+ years of bookkeeping/ accounting experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Strong MS Office Suite knowledge
