Parker + Lynch is seeking a skilled Senior BSA Analyst in Las Vegas, NV. Essential duties of the BSA Analyst are adhering to BSA regulations, identifying compliance risks, training staff to mitigate risks, implementing appropriate changes, and administering software systems. He/She will also be responsible for the ongoing monitoring of the banks MMJ/MRB account relationships and assist with all AML requirements.



  • Correspond with MMJ/MRB clients and request supporting documentation and/or clarification to validate account activity
  • Complete month end reconciliation of client’s cash ledger to bank deposits
  • Comply with currency transaction action reporting requirements by performing daily currency transaction (CTR) monitoring and, when appropriate, the preparation of Currency Transaction Reports.
  • Conduct time sensitive investigations of alerted and referred transactions and individuals for suspicious activity, utilizing a number of internal and external resources.
  • Review simple and complex transactions, individuals and member situations and provides findings to management to evaluate potential risk to the Credit Union.
  • Review internal suspicious incident reports, determine if Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) is warranted and file SAR timely with FinCEN.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting.  Maintains knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
  • Attends compliance meetings and trainings.
  • Assists with reviews and changes of policies and procedures.
  • Has access to confidential information. Protects the privacy and confidentiality of customers, employees, and other Bank activities;
  • Review and respond to AML automated system alerts
  • Prepare Enhanced Due Diligence Reporting on MMJ/MRB clients
  • Review and clear adverse news reports generated through LexisNexis
  • Assist with risk assessments


  • 3 to 5 years knowledge/experience  with BSA/AML regulations required
  • Working knowledge of branch operations
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • CAMS certification preferred.
  • Community Bank experience highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Marijuana Related Businesses preferred
