Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning processes for P&L and cost of production.
  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic and production planning.
  • Responsible for business control for sales and marketing, production, and aftermarket planning.
  • Responsible for parts inventory management, GAAP/FPP, and investment requests.
  • Support the continuous improvement action plan for plant and strive to achieve kaizens.
  • Manage profitability improvements to overall supply chain (production, inventory, warehousing).
  • Compare results to operating plans and standards and provide reports and results of operations to all levels of management. This includes the financial statement preparation, coordination of systems and procedures, and special reports as needed.
  • Responsible for monthly YoY and quarterly financial analysis and variance explanations.
  • Create risk assessments for operations to predict failures from supplier, plant, and transport carrier.
  • Knowledge of US transportation and be able to calculate contract increase and decreases.
  • Give financial guidance and support to stakeholders.
  • Show areas of supplier non-compliance costs that need to be used in sourcing decisions.
  • Support other business units with necessary info to carry out assigned responsibilities.
  • Create and implement operational and organizational plan that supports overall business plan.
  • Collaborate with other finance leaders for decision-making, analysis, reporting, and consolidation.
  • Analyze and interpret large sets of logistics data to give explanations on cost.
  • Manage cost deployment for each area.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • MBA preferred
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably at increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems, as well as financial analysis capabilities
  • Knowledge of logistics from prior production experience, transportation environment, or aftermarket distribution
  • Ability to interact and communicate with senior leaders
  • Strong cost and financial information skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Some domestic and international travel required as needed
  • Able to participate in short-term project at a production facility
