Parker + Lynch is exclusively recruiting for a Business Unit Finance Manager to support a global client. This position is 100% REMOTE.

You will be part of the leadership team responsible for supporting business finance nationally. You will work with leaders in the field to review and understand financials, as well as areas of opportunity for improvement. You will work with the senior-most leaders in the BU to provide recommendations to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Quantify Total Addressable Market (TAM) for North and South America and determine profitability and growth levels to inform strategic plans. Based on this assessment and in partnership with the business, identify missing business capabilities, potential investments and KPI’s
  • Lead the BU strategic planning process as a precursor to the financial planning cycle Collaborate with division finance leads on this effort.
  • Develop a perspective on business maturity and opportunity to inform action plans and build/buy/partnership approach to expansion
  • Monitor and track the competitive landscape, conduct threat assessments and partner with key business leaders to align on possible business implications. Make recommendations on competitive responses
  • Regularly evaluate macroeconomic and sector trends and develop leading indicators that would inform revenue projections
  • Leverage a variety of research tools and subscriptions in conjunction with field exposure and interviews to complete analyses
  • Provide analysis of market and competitive trends that would inform forecasts and budgets
  • Present on a regular basis in-depth analyses and summaries of results, interpreting and communicating results with recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Partner to identify areas of opportunity to improve existing internal reporting and processes within finance
  • Take the lead in several new reporting initiatives
  • Play a key role in shaping the strategy to expand market share and profit
  • Identification of opportunities and follow up of resource and budget initiative with the business areas, controlling the profitability ratios to increase returns in a sustainable manner
  • Maintain knowledge of company's products, competition, and broader market dynamics that frame the business context both present and future
  • Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business
  • MBA from an accredited 4-year university
  • Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of directly related experience in financial analysis, consulting, strategy, or market analysis
  • 1+ years of experience in a lead, supervisor, or manager
  • Process improvement experience and/or certification desired
  • Service industry knowledge highly desired
  • Salary: $90K-$120K/year plus bonus
