Our client is looking for a go-getter with drive to help take the business to the next level. One key requirement for this role is someone who has a proven record of capital raise.

 

This is a newly created position with opportunity to grow. This opportunity is exclusive to Parker + Lynch and not posted. An ideal candidate will have 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with a CPA/MBA. Knowledge of inventory, manufacturing and distribution are desired.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
  • Annual budget and forecast, reforecasting as necessary
  • Interface with Board of Directors and investor
  • Capital raise (Series B)
  • Maintains general ledger
  • AP, AR, payroll and banking responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
  • Strong professional demeanor with staff, peers and stakeholders
  • Interacts with outside CPA firm annual audit provider
  • Ad hoc projects to include resource analysis, pricing decision, human resources, administration, working closely with operations to make the best decisions for the organization based on financial expertise

    An ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Finance focus)
  • MBA/CPA highly desired
  • 10 years of directly related experience
  • Proven track record of capital raise required
  • Proficient in business related software: Particularly Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and adaptable to change
  • Results oriented self-starter
  • Comfortable working with minimum supervision
  • Self-motivated and proactive
