CFO needed for a healthcare technology company.  This is a newly created position based on growth for a client headquartered in New Mexico.  The right candidate can sit anywhere in the U.S. but must be able to travel to N.M on occasion.

Our client is looking for a experienced go-getter with drive to help take the business to the next level. One key requirement for this role is someone who has a proven record of capital raise. You must also have industry experience in healthcare, biotech, pharma or medical lab.

This opportunity is exclusive to Parker + Lynch and not posted. An ideal candidate will have 30 + years of progressive accounting and finance experience with a CPA and/or MBA.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
  • Annual budget and forecast, reforecasting as necessary
  • Interface with Board of Directors and investor
  • Capital raise support
  • Maintains general ledger
  • AP, AR, payroll and banking responsibilities (minimal transactions)
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
  • Strong professional demeanor with staff, peers and stakeholders
  • Interacts with outside stakeholders  
  • Ad hoc projects to include 200MM construction project
  • An ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Finance focus)
  • MBA/CPA highly desired
  • 30 years of directly related experience
  • Proven track record of capital raise required
  • Proficient in business related software
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and adaptable to change
  • Results oriented self-starter
  • Comfortable working with minimum supervision
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to travel to New Mexico, as needed, for important meetings
  • Pay Rate: $200 -$250k/year + variable comp

    Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - 40 hours a week
