Collections Specialist

My client, a mid-sized, stable corporation is looking to bring on an experienced Collections Specialist at this well-established, successful company.  You will work within a fast paced, focused business environment on a team of 2 for this corporation.  Your will be responsible for credit/collections, chargebacks and deductions work with clients on the East Coast.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced Collections Analyst to join a stable company that takes great care of their employees.  This is a permanent position paying a salary up to $85,000 plus bonus and benefits.

 

As the Collections Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Setting credit terms with new clients, adjusting limits with existing clients
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices, high volume chargebacks, deductions
  • Resolving billing and/or payment discrepancies
  • Staying in touch with clients to gauge any changes in their payment due dates
  •  

    You are qualified for this position if you have:

  • Five or more years of prior collections experience working with commercial customers
  • Strong team player with top notch customer service skills and mindset
  • Experience working across a mid-sized to large distribution or manufacturing company
  • The desire to help clients understand their invoices to facilitate payment
  •
