I'm currently recruiting for a Commissions Supervisor with a well known downtown Portland company.  This position will require some recent experience and knowledge of working with disbursements and/or commissions. It will also supervise a small team so some managerial experience is preferred.

Job Functions

  • Supervise the daily activies of the Commissions team and responcibilities
  • Write and excute various ad-hoc reports, implement/upgrade department procedures, perform testing of new areas and upgrades, diagnose trouble areas and establish corrective actions
  • Oversight of deparment policies and procedures
  • Gathering data and business information to ensure effective data flow, system usage and staff training
  • Ensure compliance in all departmenal work and activies to company policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage overall staff activies to ensure quality work and deadlines are being met
  • Work closely with other department staff and management to resolve issues and/or matters needed
  • Involvement with management meetings and activies regarding the commissions area
  • Staff training, mentoring, hiring and other managerial related areas
  • Other related projects or tasks as needed or directed by upper management
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • 5+ years accounting/finance experience with an emphasis in the dispursement and/or commissions area
  • Experience preferable within a healthcare related organization
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills both oral and written
  • Strong computer skills
