Parker + Lynch is recruiting for a Controller in Santa Fe, New Mexico area. Do you have experience in government contracting? ***Our client is allowing remote work during the pandemic, the expectation would be to work out of the office in 2021 once it is safe to do so***
Responsibilities:

  • Prepares monthly financial statements
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; reconciling entries for multiple books
  • Financial contract management
  • Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
  • Individual expense tracking and reconciliation
  • Budget and forecasting
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet
  • Work closely with outside audit CPA
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control and GAS requirements
  • Ad hoc projects as needed
  • Other tasks include partnering with Contract and Legal departments
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 7+  years of directly related experience
  • Proficient in business related software: particularly Deltek and Microsoft Office
    Suite
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and adaptable to change
  • Results oriented self-starter
  • Comfortable working with and protecting highly confidential information
