Parker+Lynch is searching for a Controller with healthcare experience, preferably in the behavioral space. As a Controller, you’ll become a part of the leading non-profit organization in the East Valley that provides life-changing services for families and individuals with disabilities. Salary is up to $135k plus bonus + 3 weeks PTO + tuition reimbursement + medical/dental/vision benefits.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead an accounting department of 12 employees (Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Cash)  
  • Establish new policies and procedures, streamline existing processes and assist with software implementation initiatives
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly billings, as well as oversee and approve journal entries, month-end reconciliations, AP transactions and payroll processing  
  • Support the CFO daily with high-level projects, merger-related activities and Ad Hoc Analysis
  • Maintain departmental operations in compliance with contract requirements, CARF accreditation and all regulatory agencies
  • Job Criteria and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred
  • Must have 3+ years of Controller experience in the healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in Excel; Great Plains or similar ERP software experience required
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills and ability to streamline processes and procedures
  • Exceptional leadership, communication (verbal/written) and collaboration skills
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions and/or software implementation projects
