Parker + Lynch is currently partnering with a manufacturer and distributor in the Mount Holly, NJ area on a search for a Financial Controller. As the Controller you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting/finance functions within the organization including supervising 3 direct reports, assisting in the implementation of a new ERP system, and providing process improvements as needed within the department.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 10 years hands on accounting/finance experience preferably within manufacturing/distribution, an active CPA or MBA, and previous managerial experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination and production of accurate financials and other reports within established time constraints.
  • Establishes and maintains a documented system of accurate basic accounting and internal controls in all financial areas for the protection of all assets of the Company.
  • Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
  • Provides Company management with financial and operational analysis that monitors the elements of cash flow to minimize interest costs and maximize returns to the Company.
  • Successfully manages the Company's cash flow.
  • Manages Company accounting issues, including payable/receivables, loan reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Assures compliance with all internal/external regulations and requirements.
  • Identifies opportunities within the Company for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of its operations.
  • Assures the timely and accurate filing of all sales, income and other tax reporting, including timely payment of amounts due.
  • Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
  • 10+ years of progressively experience
  • CPA or MBA highly preferred
  • Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
  • Strong GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
