Creative company in Portland is looking for a Controller who will oversee Accounting and Finance for this fast growing company. 


We're looking for someone to own the Bigger Picture:  Oversee the Accounting Manager and clerical accounting staff.  Own the Financial Statements, Budget and Forecast, Cash, Systems Conversion and Accounting Processes, Strategy.  Support fast growth for the firm. 

  • Oversee Accounting Operations: GL,GAAP Accounting, Inventory, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Revenue
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Consistently evaluate and improve controls and accounting process
  • Produce Monthly Financial Statements, monthly, quarterly, annually.
  • Partner with outside CPA firm on annual financial reporting needs.Oversee any tax needs
  • Oversee any technical accounting pronouncements and how they affect our polices and processes
  • Monitor Cash flow needs and covenant

    We're looking for someone with:

  • BS in Accounting or related field; 
  • 6+ years of progressive Accounting experience, including experience managing accounting staff
  • CPA and/or public accounting background is desirable; CMA desirable
  • Working knowledge of professional services also desirable
  • Strong capabilities with accounting software; ability to use intermediate level Excel
