Parker+Lynch is working with an Austin local data management company in their search for a new Controller. The company is well established with several years of success in their industry. This position will oversee accounting operations and will work closely with the CEO. The ideal candidate will have an active CPA license along with experience in creating and implementing processes for efficiencies. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations in regards to the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Supervise a team of 2 direct reports
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Implement business processes and policies to drive efficiencies and streamline processes
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Inter-company transactions and job costing
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 7+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • CPA active
  • Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • QuickBooks experience preferred
  • GAAP knowledge
  • Work Schedule:

  • Monday thru Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
  • Full-time salaried professional
  • Austin offices, temporarily remote due to covid-19
