Position Summary:

Great news for Controllers in Reno! Process transactions, execution of payroll, providing support for external audit and tax compliance and executing internal control policies and procedures. Work closely with Group Controller and CFO on monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual budgets.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate and process transactions in the Company’s accounting software.
  • Responsible for invoicing, payables, collections, expenses, reimbursements, and payroll administration
  • Calculate and record monthly accounting estimates and journal entries
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Assist with the annual budget and periodic forecast processes.   Provide input to P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards
  • Provide cash management and oversight
  • Support external auditors in completing annual audit process
  • Work with external tax providers to ensure ongoing compliance across all entities
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards
  •  

    Skills:

  • Highly PC literate with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Proficient in accounting software programs like QuickBooks, NetSuite, and/or Sage Intacct.
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Focus on integrity and conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
