Credit Manager

One of Parker + Lynch’s long-time clients is in need of a Credit and Collections Manager in Seattle, WA. In this role you will be the head of this department and report to the Controller. Duties include objective review of client data and credit history to determine eligibility to extend credit, track aging receivables to limit bad debt write offs and maximize cash collection, and more.   • Updated credit granting/collection process as needed
  • Review credit applications to determine credit terms and potential risks to company
  • Periodically review existing customer accounts and make adjustments as necessary
  • Identify and track key risk indicators for customer credit deterioration; identify and track operating metrics to measure efficiency and effectiveness of credit and collection processes.
  • Be the point of contact for escalated credit/collection issues
  • Demonstrate flexibility and understanding performing collection efforts while taking steps necessary to ensure that cash flow and credit management goals are met.
  • Work with internal teams as projects/issues arise surrounding credit/collections
  • Oversee 1 credit specialist – hire, train, and provide ongoing learning/support


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or closely related field
  • 5+ years related Credit Management Experience
  • Direct supervision experience required
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and develop/execute a plan of action
  • Comfortably dealing with ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills
