Parker & Lynch is actively recruiting for a Director of Client Accounting, Billing to join Littler Mendelson's global services center in Kansas City, MO.  This position will report directly to the CFO  and will be over billing, ebilling and client intake. The team consists of 5 direct reports and a total of 40 people on the team.

The Director of Client Accounting, Billing job responsibilities include:
• Oversee all aspects of billing department including but not limited to pre-bill distribution, invoice processing, billing system set-up, submission, revision and dispute resolution
• Assign team invoice volume based on workload and individual capabilities
• Manage Client Billing Guideline Compliance, ensuring completeness and accuracy standards are consistently met
• Month-end and other periodic analysis and reporting
• Oversee department service scope, service standards, resource and technology strategies to exceed external client expectations
• Ensure the department systems of internal controls are designed, maintained, executed, monitored and refined to ensure accuracy, timely and fair reporting of all transactions
• Support department service standards, budget and other strategic objectives
• Ensure personal and departmental improvement, growth and objectives are set, actioned and evaluated
• Evolve department to meet future business needs including recruitment, retention, development and training, workload management, etc.
The Director of Client Accounting, Billing job qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Legal industry experience required
• Experience with leading and overseeing all aspects of a transactional and ad-hoc billing department
• Experience managing a very high-volume billing department
• Previously developed resource strategies to meet business needs
• Previously demonstrated the ability to lead, mentor and motivate staff
• Minimum five years of relative experience
