Director of Finance/Administration

Our client, a non-profit organization supporting education in the West Palm Beach area, is seeking a Director of Finance/Administration. If you love making a difference and have a strong background in accounting/finance along with a knowledge of HR/administration, this is a great opportunity for you.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage organization budgets
  • Maintain the general ledger, manage cash flow, and make bank and other reconciliations.
  • Create and present financial reports to Board of Directors
  • Analyze financial information to assess current and long-range financial health of the organization.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and responsible for the year end audit process
  • Address legal, financial, HR and administrative requirements
  • Oversee office operations

  • Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance/accounting
  • Non-profit/education industry experience highly preferred
  • 5+ years of related financial management plus human resources knowledge and understanding
  • Extensive experience with accounting software (superior Excel skills a must)
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and accurate with the ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
