Parker + Lynch is currently partnering with a healthcare organization in the Newtown Square, PA area on a search for a Director of Finance. As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for all financial aspects within the organization including budgeting/forecasting, assisting with the organizations cash flow, and implementing policies and procedures in orders to improve company reporting.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 10 years hands on finance experience, a strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, and an in depth knowledge of standard cost accounting along with inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded, and that financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies and US GAAP.
  • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
  • Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervises the completion of Federal and State tax reporting requirements including income, property, sales and use, payroll and other local taxes, insurance reports and other reports required by government regulation.
  • Manages external relationships with accountants, bankers, insurance brokers, financial advisors and other professional service providers.
  • Manages the budgeting and long-term financial planning processes and controls expenses effectively.
  • Hires, trains, develops and appraises staff effectively.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in accounting or finance required
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS
  • 10+ years of finance or accounting work experience
  • In depth understanding and working knowledge of: Cost Accounting Standards (CAS); Federal Cost Principles
