A Regional Bank in Monmouth County is working with Parker + Lynch on a Director of Regulatory Reporting Role.  In this position, you will be the banks point of contact for all internal and external reporting requirements as regulated by the Financial Services Industry.  You must have a background from public accounting, combined with experience within a corporate financial services company to be considered for this role.  You also must be familiar with all appropriate regulatory reports and compliance strategies.  Please apply below if you are interested. 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the banks operations and all financial statements to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
  • Preparation, review, and supervision of all regulatory reports including Call Reports, 9LP, and Y9c
  • Derivative reporting
  • Responsible for all quarterly and annual reports to ensure financial health of bank
  • Research on accounting treatment and policy as it relates to the bank
  • Accounting for loans, investments, deposits, and borrowings
  • REIT activities
  • Assists external auditors
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Big 4 Assurance and Advisory experience required
  • Financial Services industry experience required, preferably with a regional bank
  • 8+ years of overall experience
  • Expert in Bank regulatory Reporting
  • Ability to develop string relationships throughout all segments of the company, including the parent company and subsidiaries
  • Compensation

    $130,000-$140,000
