Parker + Lynch is seeking a Director of Tax with International experience for a High- Tech client of ours. This position will report to the Global head of Tax and manage the International tax, provisions and compliance for organization.

  • Superior experience in U.S. international tax rules, including international tax aspects of provisions, U.S. international income tax compliance, foreign tax provisions and foreign income tax compliance requirements
  • Manage domestic portions of the quarterly tax closing and reporting processes. Includes determining federal perms, stock compensation entries, pension accounting entries, and U.S. discrete tax items on a legal entity basis.
  • Manage domestic portions of the annual tax closing and reporting processes including current and deferred tax reporting for all domestic entities pursuant to ASC 740 (SFAS109).
  •  The International Tax Manager will utilize acquired tax knowledge and experience to manage and direct all aspects of US international tax function.
  • Analyze federal tax exposures, including the determination of appropriate tax reserves pursuant to ASC740 (SFAS 109) and FIN48. Ensure all required documentation to support and disclose tax reserves is prepared and maintained.
  • Manage the U.S. Consolidated tax return including estimated payments, extension, return to provision, return review, federal permanent and temporary items, credits, etc.
  • Manage foreign income tax compliance requirements, including potential centralization of international tax compliance functions.
  • Determine the impact of significant transactions and events, purchases, dispositions and changes in U.S. business operations.
  • Assist with portions of the SOX 404 internal control procedures and ensure all processes are properly documented and tested.
  • Responsible for domestic tax ledgers including quarterly reconciliation and sign-off.



  • Working knowledge of federal and state income tax accounting and provision and federal and state income tax compliance. 
  • Minimum six years of tax experience in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and federal income taxation with emphasis on U.S. tax law as applied to corporations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, CPA or Advanced degree in Tax preferred. Minimum of eight to ten years of tax experience in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and federal income taxation with emphasis on U.S. tax law as applied to corporations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal income taxation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Accounting for Income Tax rules and current FASB interpretations, as well as solid general knowledge of GAAP rules.
  • Proficient in Sarbanes Oxley 404 rules and their application to all tax functions.
