If you like the outdoors; hiking, camping, skiing…and enjoy public accounting, then I have a great job and location for you! I have a growing CPA Firm, in Southern Oregon, that is looking to hire one, maybe two, new Finance Services Manager(s). This is not a standard audit or tax related role. Think of it more as a CFO type function, who goes in to clients to help with higher level accounting and finance related “interim” work and projects. You’ll be working closely with CEOs and Executives to help advice, strategize and assist with various company related financial matters. You would work with multiple clients (usually 3-5 at a time depending on the need), different industries and a variety of work always. If this sounds exciting than let’s talk!

Job Related Functions

  • Interim CFO / Project Management
  • Assist clients with preparing and maintaining company budgets, forecasting, reporting and financial planning
  • Strategize and assist with company policy manuals, M&As, control identification and capital planning
  • System upgrades and implementations
  • Staff analysis and planning
  • Supervise and mentor client’s currently employed accounting staff and/or additional project staff as needed
  • Help plan and assist with board reporting
  • Other client accounting and/or finance related matters as needed
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • CPA preferred - company can also assist with pursuing your license
  • 5+ years of public accounting - will look at higher level individuals from corporate accounting
  • Strong technical, analytical and research skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Strong people management, leadership and mentoring skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
