Due to major growth our client has a GREAT opportuntiy for a Financial Accountant/Analyst.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze general ledger activity; monthly, quarterly and at year-end, ensuring that balances are properly reflected and are in agreement with supporting documents
  • Amortize prepaid costs such has real estate taxes and insurance – in accordance with GAAPor tax depending on entity specific reporting basis.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules (primarily capitalized real estate assets) including construction related additions billed by our construction company and depreciated in accordance with GAAP or tax depending on entity specific reporting basis.
  • Maintain intercompany schedule relating to all entities ensuring that intercompany activity and the movement of funds have been properly and completely recorded between these entities.
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end workpapers for our CPA firm and the preparation of year-end financial statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of the semi-annual real estate tax payment schedules.
  • Numerous special projects requested by the Senior Analyst, Assistant Controller and Controller,from time to time as needed,

    Qualifications:

  • Public accounting with 1-2 years of experience working with general ledgers, trial balances,account analysis, preferably with real estate clients in a multi-entity environment.                                                                                           Please email resumes to michele.degaetano@parkerlynch.com
