Parker + Lynch has partnered with an industry leader in Clearwater, FL that is seeking a Financial Analyst to support their Corporate Accounting team. This is a newly created position as a result of growth. In this role, you will focus on the strategic side of the business and interact with all lines of the business within a specific group. The primary responsibilities of the Financial Analyst are to assist with ad hoc financial reporting, analysis, modeling and forecasting. Our client offers a track record of promoting from within, work-from-home options, and above market compensation.  
 

The Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with monthly analysis of business unit performance and highlighting drivers of variances vs. budget and forecast
  • Creating a monthly financial reporting package for executive leadership
  • Maintaining project progress reports
  • Monitoring trends of key financial metrics and drivers
  • Performing ad hoc analyses as needed
  • Attending budget meetings and assisting with data gathering
  • Preparing detailed schedules for important revenue and expense categories
  • Assisting in distributing and providing support to end users

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject
  • 2+ years of finance or accounting experience
  • Ability to communicate at the Executive level
  • Advanced Excel skills including VBA
  • SAP experience preferred
