.Great growing company is seeking a Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be focused on analysis of regional P&L’s, driving greater insight into current revenue and cost trends. This will include developing models to analyze mix and productivity profitability by line of business, providing financial guidance, reporting and tracking financial performance of initiatives. Efforts will also include assisting the Director of Finance with the development of the annual plan, quarterly estimates, financial modeling and business analysis.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial trend reports to identify performance issues within the business and risks or opportunities in current financial plan/forecast
  • Compile and analyze quarterly earnings data and communicate with finance leads, including, but not limited to, sequential and year-over-year sales and operating income walks, organic growth rates, and cost productivity.
  • Analyze monthly financial and business results and advise Director, Financial Planning & Analysis of opportunities, risks, and issues surrounding business performance.
  • Manage cost center budgeting for various functional groups and analyze results on a monthly basis
  • Develop analyses for understanding financial performance results, and work closely with functional area leaders to understand and analyze financial performance.
  • Prepare analysis, summary & overall presentation package schedules for Monthly Operations Review process and other related processes
  • Building discounted cash flow and other ad-hoc financial models in support of business development activities and special projects
  • Perform other financial analysis projects as required
  • 2-5 years of post Bachelor Finance experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated analytical skills including P&Ls, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow
  • Solid accounting and system skills
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Above average computer skills and knowledge of systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and across functional groups
