Parker + Lynch has a newly created Financial Analyst position with a growing real estate company in Dallas, TX. The company offers a competitive compensation package including salary, incentive and benefits plan. This Financial Analyst works directly with the Vice President and CFO to provide forecasting, budgeting, planning for investments, and financial analysis for strategic business growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with monthly financial reporting package for partners
  • Key player for annual budget and monthly cash forecasting for the business
  • Prepare waterfall models for new assets and maintain models for existing deals
  • Develop advanced financial models for key performance indicators
  • Present financial reports and what-if scenario models for executives
  • Support ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • 2 – 5 years of relevant experience preferably within financial services, banking or real estate investment industry
  • Knowledge of waterfall models, capital transactions and/or investor reporting is a plus
  • Must have advanced Excel skills and be able to develop complex models from scratch
  • Ability to interact directly with deal teams, investors and other departments as related to FP&A
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
