Company overview:

For our expanding Dental Support Organization, our team  is looking for an experienced, hands-on Controller . The Controller will be an important member of our collaborative team, helping to develop and implement various financial procedures in order to maintain and improve our company's financial health.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Lead all month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation 

• Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting

• Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting 

• Coordinate and manage the day-to-day process of the annual audit 

• Assist Senior Management in preparing documents and materials for equity shareholders, lenders, and others.

•Engage with  our Operations, Marketing, and Human Resource teams to ensure that the accounting department is aligned with organizational actions and that accounting controls and processes are properly maintained.

• Oversee the accounting procedure for purchases.

 

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


• Healthcare services industry and revenue recognition experience, and multi-site experience including inter-company transactions and consolidations


• Hands-on Controller-level experience


• At least 5-7 years’ experience in a senior financial managerial position


• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance


• CPA strongly preferred


• Advanced computer skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Office, Excel, as well as accounting and payroll software


• Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner


• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and growth-oriented environment


• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with senior leaders and deliver results; experience working with private equity investors is a plus
