Are you an experienced Financial Analyst in Rock Hill, SC looking for a new opportunity? Parker and Lynch is seeking a skilled candidate for a permanent position with an established client. Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process through Planful, creating new inputs and reports as needed
  • Create forecast and plan inputs such as standard costs, housing starts, and raw material costs
  • Responsible for forecasting and planning oversight, collaborating with other teams to confirm inputs, analyze variances, and drive for agreement
  • Responsible for month-end reporting and variance analysis, and identifying areas of risk and opportunity
  • Improve finance processes and drive improvements across the organization
  • Generate quarterly business development, strategy, risk, and leadership presentations
  • Evaluate economic trends, earnings of competitors/peers/customers, and company risk
  • Perform in-depth analysis and modeling including profitability optimization, scenario analysis, capex business cases, product line innovation, and contract structure
  • Support annual long-term strategic planning, reporting and analysis
  • Assess business opportunities, create business cases and carry-out transactions
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, including consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
  • Must have prior experience in financial modeling, investment analysis, and knowledge of GAAP
  • Prior experience using SQL, Oracle, Planful, and PowerBI preferred
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency
  • Must be results-oriented and a team-player
