Parker & Lynch is seeking a Financial Analyst with 3-5 years of experience for a full-time career position at a growing technology company in Durham, NC. This is a full-time permanent role with a results-oriented team and reports to the Controller.

This role will participate in the month end accounting close, partnering with assigned departments, providing budget variance explanations and reporting according to company financial process and procedures. Top candidates will be skilled in communicating across all levels of the organization, compiling data and summarizing financial information for non-financial managers.


  • Work as the liaison between finance and operations team on development of consolidated financial and operating KPI’s
  • Facilitate meetings and manage cost savings tracking and reporting for departments assigned
  • Support corporate buildout and review of cost savings initiatives and financial justifications for accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare monthly cash flow and working capital reporting and forecast packages
  • Coordinate the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process with executive management and department heads.

  • Detailed oriented and able to identify trends, patterns, and potential data discrepancies
  • Strong modeling techniques and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions without specific step-by-step instructions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while delivering results in a timely manner
  • Entrepreneurial team player contributes in multiple ways within the company
  • Effectively communicates and engages with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams
  • Experience manipulating complex and large data sources and ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly
  • Experience with financial software (Oracle or Net Suite) and/or BI tools (Power BI)
  • Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong desire to work with others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience

    Work Hours: 8:00 – 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week; occasional overtime during month end accounting close.
