About the Role:

Our client in the healthcare space is in search of a Financial Analyst. This is a growing team and this person would report directly to the CFO with remote work flexibility. Located in North Phoenix, this is a fantasic opportunity for someone looking to grow exponentially within the company.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis of actual results vs plan
  • Participate in distribution, collection, and consolidation of quarterly forecast templates
  • Reports, analyzes, and interprets financial and operating data for management, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, contract pricing analysis and wage analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis as directed.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and reports on outstanding A/R aging balances
  • Identify issues and trends to correct potential problems from all phases of the billing process including intake, charge processing, coding, denials, reimbursement and follow up to assure and maintain sound billing practices.
  • Uses financial modeling to forecast future costs and revenue impacts
  • Assist with financial audit
  • Helps design and implement presentations for management

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years experience in healthcare accounting or finance
  • Healthcare experience related to revenue cycle management, claims analysis and KPIs
  • Supports and executes the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectively
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reports
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong Data Analysis skills
