Parker+Lynch is in search of a full-charge Bookkeeper role combining finance/accounting and full cycle bookkeeping (data entry to preparing financial statements), office administration and other projects as assigned. This role is ideal someone who wants to report to the head of finance and be an important resource in an established and growing business. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented and eager to take on new challenges.


Job Responsibilities

  • Monthly and annual reporting/closing
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Receivable Overdue Management
  • GL Reconciliations
  • Journal entries
  • Payroll entry
  • Report and Formatting of weekly reports exported from accounting system including AR Aging and Forecasts
  • Ad Hoc reports as needed
  • Financial Statement Creation
  • Work with external accountant when preparing audit reports and tax returns
  • Management of office procurement and maintenance

    Ideal Candidate

  • Strong Administrative Capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Must live in the Sacramento
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related 4 year degree preferred
  • If no BA, then 5 years prior accounting/bookkeeping experience/knowledge with stable employment history
  • CPA is a plus
  • Familiarity with all Microsoft Office Suite Products (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc...)
