Parker + Lynch is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for our profitable and stable client to be responsible managing all reporting activity, performing analytical duties and measuring financial performance for the organization.

Responsibilities will include:

  • The preparation and analysis of financial reports and records and all internal and external management reporting.
  • Assess and analyze data to determine financial performance and profitability
  • Prepare and present all analysis and reports to internal constituents
  • Work closely with internal customers and external groups to resolve issues and address questions related to financial reports
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop best in class accounting procedures.
  • Maintain chart of accounts and ensure that all information flowing in and out of the systems is accurate
  • Manage and develop a small team of accounting professionals and ensure resources are available for continued staff growth.
  • Determines overall work assignments and projects for the Financial Reporting and Tax teams. Ensures that adequate resources are available and have the skills to attain current and planned goals.
  • Manages the team’s processes related to the talent acquisition, training and development, and coaching and counseling, ensuring the attainment of department objectives in support of the Company’s strategic initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of and implement all emerging GAAP pronouncements and communicate impact to the business
  • Performs ad-hoc requests as needed to support the Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions.
  • Required Experience

  • Bachelor's in Accounting 
  • CPA preferred with prior public accounting experience. 
  • Five years of experience including three years of leadership and/or staff supervision
  • Ability to analyze and develop statistical and financial data. 
  • Ability to prepare financial statements and assess internal controls
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
