A Manager of Fund Accounting job in Denver Colorado is available through Parker & Lynch. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who brings experience from working in Public Accounting with PE clients and having worked for a Fund Administrator working on PE and VC funds.  Our client is looking for a candidate who has their CPA along with 5-8 years of experience to join this growing team and expanding office here in Denver.

Responsibilities of the Fund Accounting Manager:

  • Preparation of quarterly financial statements
  • Reporting performance of the Fund
  • Prepare and calculate capital call notices
  • Partnership Accounting experience
  • Able to understand and review Limited Partnership agreements
  • Complete regulatory forms for regulation requirements
  • Review investment packages
  • Calculate management fees owed for investment and portfolio management services
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist with Audit
  • Able to manage work both up and down to staff
  • Requirements of the Fund Accounting Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 5 to 8 years of Fund Accounting experience
  • 5 to 8 years + of supervisor experience
  • MBA and CPA are highly desired
  • Public accounting experience is highly desired along with experience working for a Fund Administrator
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
