Parker + Lynch has partnered with a growing and reputable corporation in search of a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.  This is a newly-created role reporting directly to the CFO and will have primary responsibility for budget creation, profitability and “what if” analysis, and monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting.  This is a “hands-on” position requiring the development and continuous improvement of relatively new processes and will offer you the opportunity to make an impact on a growing business. 

Manager FP&A duties will include:

  • Develop an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company’s portfolio of businesses.
  • Communicate financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.
  • Lead scenario modeling efforts for the development and growth of the company. Participate as a key thought leader of the accounting team, influencing decision making and identifying priorities.
  • Develop and execute processes to allow for routine analytical reviews of company financial and operational performance,)
  • Lead the strategic and tactical aspects of the annual operating plan and budget process for the company, resulting in monthly forecast of revenue and expenses by product category and department, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Capital Spending.
  • Prepare presentations in support of board and shareholder meetings,
  • Support the strategic business planning process.
  • Participate in the financial modeling and due diligence efforts related to the company's ongoing M&A activities.
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 5 years directly related experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience writing business reports is required
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-Starter, manage and prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, growing environment
