Parker + Lynch is searching for a Medical Billing Specialist. This role is REMOTE, you will be required to attend an onsite meeting once a quarter at the office (you must be physically located in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe Area). In this role you will be responsible for medical billing for insurance, private pay and Medicare/Medicaid for a specialized health provider. You will need to be able to both prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment and process and analyze complete client billing. Accuracy is key. Company provides top-notch benefits including 90% of medical/dental and vision premium for the employee, 401k match and PTO. Salary is DOW with a target range between $40k-$46k/year.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent and responsive customer service to administrative personnel in local office
Prepare all invoicing for clients
Manage workloads to ensure accurate and timely billing
Have accrual, budget and rate knowledge
Act as a liaison between provider team and finance; responding to internal and external inquiries
Communicate with clients to ensure their requests from the billing staff are being met
Follow-up on unsent invoices and run reports
Special billing projects and tasks as assigned
Skills:
Exhibit strong communication skills
Have excellent analytical and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Organization, time management and prioritization abilities
Experienced with Excel, Word, and Outlook
Must have a professional, cooperative, and positive attitude
Qualification:
Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills required
Degree is a nice plus
Certifications in medical billing highly preferred
